Fifth Conference on HIV / AIDS in Eastern Europe and Central Asia

The Agenda of the Fifth Conference on HIV / AIDS in Eastern Europe and Central Asia will be developed by the Programme Committees. 

The Approved Agenda is to be uploaded on the website on or prior to December 17, 2015. 

Similarly to previous years, the Agenda for the 5th Conference will be developed by the Programme Committees.

To develop the Agenda 2016, three Committees have been set up: Science and Medicine, International Development Assistance and Civil Society, each of which will fill up their Agenda sections according to the established procedure. The first meeting of the Programme Committee “International Cooperation Assistance” (whose Co-Chairs are Andrei Bokarev, Director of the International Financial Relations Department, Ministry of Finances, Russia, Vyacheslav Smolensky, Director of the Administration for Scientific Provision of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare of the Population and International Activity, Federal Supervision Agency for Customer Protection and Human Welfare), will be held in Moscow on March 24, 2015.

The first meeting of the committees “Science and Medicine” (Co-Chairs: Vadim Pokrovsky, Director of the Federal Research Guidance Centre for AIDS Prevention and Treatment, Federal Budget Institution of Science “Central Epidemiology Research Institute”, Federal Supervision Agency for Customer Protection and Human Welfare, Evgeny Voronin, Chief Visiting Children Expert on HIV Diagnostics and Treatment Issues at the Ministry of Health, Chief Physician of the Republican Clinical Children Hospital of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, and Oleg Gorin, Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyz Republic, Chief Sanitary Officer) and “Civil Society” (Co-Chairs: Denis Godlevsky, Co-Chair of the Civil Society Committee, EECAAC 2014, Supervisor of cooperation with BRICS from the civil society, Director of the Aid Foundation Programmes for AIDS in Russia, Victoria Ashirova, Director, NGO “Hope and Life”, Uzbekistan, and Igor Gordon, Chairman of the Board of the Estonian Network of People Living with HIV) will be held in Moscow on March 26, 2015.
